POOL LIFT MODEL  IGAT-180  SPECS

[Pool Lifts Main] [Pool Lifts2] [Pool Lifts3] [Pool Lifts4] [Pool Lifts5] [Pool Lifts6]

A  user-operable water-powered  lift  providing access to in-ground  pools. Seat automatically  turns 180*,  and  travels 42"  vertically. Lift  mounts  into  deck  socket -- no underwater installation. Made of 304  and  316L  stainless steel, various  plastics, and  brass valve. These  features  are unique to this lift:  Water-powered  with  garden  hose  --  55  psi lifts  400  lbs.
Unibody  frame with cylinder as the  main  component
Design of moving frame  with  rub block  at  bottom insures smooth and  rigid seat movement
Footrest can  flip  up  during  transfer

INSTALLATION
should be where  there is a  straight  wall at least 38"  deep  before  any curve  at  pool  bottom.  Socket  location  is  usually 14" -  21  " from pool edge.
This measurement  is  variable  depending on the drawing  and information  provided  by  the customer.  See  below for  drawing specs. A  3"  diameter  core  hole is drilled  8"  deep, and  the 2.365"  O.D.  socket  is anchor-cemented  into  the deck.  A socket cover is included to cover  the hole when the  lift  is  removed.

DRAWING  REQUIRED with each order. We need a  drawing showing  the relationship between  the pool  deck,  coping, gutter,  and FOOTREST pool  wall, with all  pertinent measurements including  deck to water level.
 Examples:

WATER  CONNECTION is usually  made  by  connecting  a garden hose  to  a nearby faucet.  The hose can  be  run across the  deck  at  a little- used location,  then  run down the  gutter  to  the lift;  or, rubber carpets  can be  placed  over the  hose  where people may  walk. On new  construction, an in-ground  water line should be installed  to a  recessed  water box  with a  shut-off  valve inside (available from plumbers supply). This water box  should  be placed to the  right of the  socket, away from the  seat's travel  arc.  The plumbed-in line eliminates a  hose  crossing the  deck.

CUSTOM DESIGNS are  offered by Aquatic  Access  to  fit your needs. Examples: longer travel for  low water  level,  opposite seat roatation, other seat heights, or modification for  use in recessed spas with bench  seats.
